Hal v0.5 product update

1. Overview

A forecast is most valuable when it remains visible as real transactions arrive. Hal v0.5 introduces a founder decision dashboard that compares planned monthly income and expenses with actual company money, helping founders notice differences while there is still time to respond.

2. Decide before month-end

We built this dashboard so founders can see forecasts beside actual company money throughout the month, validate progress early, and update the plan or the next action while there is still time to build a stronger result.

3. How it works

1. Open Home. 2. Arrange the dashboard so the most useful information appears where you need it. 3. Select Configure and choose which accounts to include or exclude from the dashboard totals. 4. Return to Home and add your income and expense forecast for the current month. 5. Compare the forecast with actual money as the month progresses. 6. Use meaningful variations as validation signals, understand what changed, and choose the next decision with current information.

4. Try the new feature

Review the most important variations each week and decide whether to strengthen cash, accelerate a collection, reschedule a nonessential cost, or update an assumption. Record the reason for the change so next month's forecast starts with even better information and your company keeps moving toward its goals.

Hal brings the plan and actual company money into the same founder view. Ready to manage the month with one clear financial view? Open Hal, enter your forecast, and use real performance to choose the next move.
